The Best Pre-Workout Supplement

Out of all the pre-workout supplements out there, many are overpriced and most underdeliver.

One product that seems to work for everyone who has ever tried it seems to boost their strength almost immediately after taking it. That is Gaspari Nutrition’s SuperPump 250.

The method by which it works is from a supplement mixture of creatine, nitrous oxide (NO), arginine, and a number of stimulants like caffeine and taurine.

Whether the NO ingredients actually do anything is up to debate, but the stimulant ingredients definitely do their job.

In the newsletters we explain some of the benefits of taking in caffeine before a workout. This is caffeine working at it’s best.

The only downside of this product is that you need to gauge your tolerance for the stimulants in it. Starting with one scoop is recommended for about a month. From then, you body should be accustomed to it, and you can up your serving to two scoops accordingly. It is pretty powerful. Try not to take too soon before going to bed or you may have trouble sleeping.

The major reported side effect has caused the product to be renamed SuperPoop at our gym due to the uh…diarrhea it can cause.

However, diarrhea subsides when use is discontinued and strength gains up 20 pounds on average for the big 3 lifts are very common within a week. Minor side effect if you’re trying to boost your strength.

We’ve tried a TON of different creatine products. Some popular, some obscure.

The best creatine products on the market all contain creatine monohydrate and a type of sugar to facilitate absorption. Creatine monohydrate is the most studied of creatine molecules. Remember this when checking labels. Lots of other creatine products are made with different types of creatine molecules, but in our experience, creatine mohohydrate is still king and the most effective.

Gaspari Nutrition’s SizeOn is our favourite creatine product, and most effective at delivering the classic creatine gains we’ve all read about. It is hands down, the best creatine product currently on the market (and we’ve tried most of them.)

A 1.2 kg bucket will last about a month and is worth the money if you respond well to creatine products. Tad pricey, but no one reports any side effects while taking it.
